Sellers decide if they are going to offer a coupon for their auction, with the amount and quantity available.
Simply follow the link, sign in or create your free BidRush account, and add the coupon to your profile. Your discount will apply automatically to eligible purchases in the auction.
There’s no cost to claim or use your coupon, and no obligation to bid or buy!
One coupon per buyer for this auction, and you can claim before the auction with the coupon closes, while supplies last.
Unused value expires at auction close and cannot be exchanged for cash. Buyer’s premium, applicable taxes and other charges remain payable.
For Sellers
Give buyers another reason to bid, with auction coupons!
You can now create free discount coupons for buyers to use in your BidRush auction. Use them to attract new buyers, reconnect with past buyers or give your clients something to share with friends and family.
From your Store dashboard, go to the Auction dashboard. Choose Coupons from the left menu. Then click on + New Coupon.
Then choose the coupon value and quantity, then share the claim link in your auction promotions. You can make the coupons public (appears on the auction page), or private (only to those you share it with). Buyers add the coupon to their profile, and the discount applies automatically to their eligible purchases.

Note that BidRush fees are calculated on the original hammer price; the buyer’s premium is calculated after the discount. Applicable taxes and Stripe fees still apply.

For Buyers
1. Are BidRush coupons free, and how do I use one?
Yes, coupons are free to claim and use when they are offered in the auction. Follow the coupon link or enter the code in your BidRush profile before the deadline. Your discount applies automatically to eligible purchases in the specified auction. Coupons do not purchase bids or bidding privileges.
2. Can I use more than one coupon per auction?
You can hold one coupon per auction. Claiming another coupon for the same auction replaces your previous coupon. Coupons cannot be combined.
3. What happens if I don’t use the full coupon value?
Unused value expires when the auction closes and cannot be carried forward or exchanged for cash. If you make no eligible purchases, there is no charge for the unused coupon.
For Sellers
1. How do I create and share an auction coupon?
Choose the coupon value and quantity available, then share the claim link with potential buyers. Eligible buyers claim it through their BidRush accounts, and the discount applies automatically to their purchases in that auction.
2. Who pays for the coupon discount?
You cover the redeemed discount unless it is created by BidRush. A buyer claiming a coupon without using it does not create a coupon charge. Coupons must always be free for buyers to obtain and use.
3. How do coupons affect fees and the buyer’s premium?
BidRush platform fees are calculated on the original hammer price. The buyer’s premium is calculated on the hammer price after the coupon discount. Taxes are calculated according to applicable law.
