- Is there an app for cataloging items?
- Not at this time. You can easily catalog items using our responsive mobile website.
- What's the fee for selling?
- Fees are according to the plan selected when setting up your account. Fees are the lowest in the industry and you keep the buyer's premium! Since you keep the Buyer's Premium, you can charge a 15% Buyer's Premium to offset BidRush and Stripe fees to Buyers. See Pricing Page
- How are payments handled?
- Payments go straight to you through your Stripe account.
- How quickly do I get paid?
- You receive payment after the buyer's payment clears and is released via Stripe (subject to Stripe's terms, typically seven days after payment processing which is after auction closing).
- When do buyers pay?
- Buyers pay automatically with their credit card on file after the auction closes.
- What if the payment doesn't go through?
- With 10s of 1000s of transactions processed, unpaids are in the single digits - and often sorted out before pickup. Bidders who do not pay are banned so they pay up to keep their bidding privileges. An email reminder is sent, and a banner appears in the bidder profile reminding them to pay. In the event that they don't pay prior to pickup you can contact the buyer to arrange an alternate payment method or collect payment during pickup.
- Can I charge a buyer's premium?
- Yes, you can add a buyer's premium and keep the fee.
- Do I need to negotiate with buyers?
- No haggling needed—bidders compete and the auction sets the price.
- Can I extend the auction timeline?
- You can, but it's not recommended as it can affect trust and integrity for your future auctions. If this feature is abused it could result in account suspension.
- Can I cancel the auction?
- You can, but it's not recommended as it can affect trust and integrity for your future auctions. If this feature is abused it could result in account suspension.
- Can I add items during the auction?

- Can I remove items during the auction?

However, resetting bids or canceling lots is not recommended unless there is a really good reason as it may impact trust in your future auctions. If this feature is abused it could result in account suspension. View how to edit, reset and remove.

- No, set firm pickup times and communicate these clearly in your auction listing. You can setup multiple pickup windows when you create the auction.

- How do I become a seller on BidRush?
- BidRush is a curated marketplace. Sellers join by invitation or by applying to set up a BidRush store. This approach helps maintain a consistent, organized, and trusted auction experience. Once approved, sellers may continue launching auctions as long as marketplace guidelines are followed. Approval to sell does not constitute endorsement or guarantee. Sellers operate independently under BidRush’s terms and conditions. Apply to Join
- ¹As a seller, how can I set it up to be free?
- BidRush charges just 12% of the sold price. Sellers are also responsible for Stripe's payment processing fees (2.9% of bidder invoice + $0.30 per invoice). Since you keep the Buyer's Premium, you can charge a 15% Buyer's Premium to offset BidRush and Stripe fees to Buyers. View Seller Experience
- Do seller fees change if there refunds are issued by seller?
- No. When an auction closes, a significant amount of work has already been completed by the platform. The system has hosted the auction, handled bidder traffic, processed bids in real time, notified bidders, generated invoices, managed payment processing, and recorded the transaction. Those platform services occur regardless of whether the item is ultimately kept by the buyer or later refunded. Refunds are typically related to issues such as item condition, pickup logistics or seller decisions to refund after the sale. While BidRush gives sellers flexibility to resolve those situations directly with buyers, the platform infrastructure and marketplace exposure that produced the sale have already been delivered.
