The 1995 Canada Proof Double Dollar Set was officially issued by the Royal Canadian Mint to commemorate the 325th anniversary of the Hudson's Bay Company. It is highly regarded by collectors for its stunning mirror-like proof finish and historic themes. This Special Edition variant also includes the Peacekeeping Monument on the $1 coin (rather than the typical Loon) Total Mintage: 101,560 sets. Some toning on coins, see photos. Over time, these silver coins may naturally develop light toning, which is typical for sterling silver and does not reduce their numismatic value.
