(1941–2020) studied at the Sheridan College School of Craft and Design and is widely respected as the "Grandfather of Canadian Glassblowers". His signature style features heavy control bubbles and organic, swirling ribbons of color encased in dense glass. 2nd renowned American master glassblower Richard Satava, created at his studio, Satava Art Glass. This piece is a vintage, hand-blown "Volcano" or "Magma" series paperweight. 3rd unsigned 4th Aura" or "Fountain" series crafted by the renowned American studio glass artist Robert Eickholt. He founded Eickholt Glass in 1978 in Columbus, Ohio, after studying glassblowing in Berkeley, California. He officially retired in 2013, Technique: This piece uses a layered heavy casing method embedded with a systematic "controlled bubble" grid.
