Selling a beautiful, heavy, mid-20th-century American Empire Revival full-size bed frame with adjustable metal bed frame with casters. Solid mahogany with a gorgeous deep grain and rich finish. The main headboard, footboard, and rails are solid and sturdy, but the piece has a couple of broken turned elements that require a woodworker's touch to fully restore. Premium Styling: Features massive carved ball-and-claw feet, thick turned posts, and striking concentric bullseye rosette scrollwork. Easy Assembly: Uses a heavy-duty iron hook-and-pin system. The side rails drop into the posts securely without tools or frustrating bolts. Dimensions: 54 inches internally between the rails (Standard modern Full size). Bonus Included: Comes with a modern adjustable metal bed frame with casters, giving you the option to easily mount just the gorgeous headboard to a modern mattress setup. Repair / Condition Notes (Please Read): Blanket Rail: The horizontal accent bar for the footboard is detached and has snapped at the turned neck. It will require a proper wood-dowel pin repair/clamping to fix securely—simple wood glue alone will not hold it. We've used it for years without the bed rail and haven't ever missed it but we still have it in case someone wants to restore it Cosmetic Finials: Three of the top decorative finials/caps are currently detached (see photos). Loose pieces included; they just need to be re-seated/pinned. General Cosmetic Condition: Needs cleaning. The main panels have minor surface scuffs and light dust from storage but are otherwise structurally sound with a beautiful luster.
