This exquisite piece features a beautifully executed, multi-layered acid-etched design depicting a panoramic mountainous forest or lakeside scene. The coloration is striking, utilizing a warm frosted amber-yellow ground at the rim that transitions seamlessly down into deep amethyst, purple, and rich brown tones detailing the trees and foliage. Signature & Details: • Markings: Features a script-style "Gallé" signature executed in raised cameo relief on the lower side of the body. • Rim & Structure: Features a highly uniform, translucent, fire-polished smooth top rim. • Base: The frosted bottom displays centered pitting and hand-tooling irregularities consistent with a ground-down pontil scar from manual finishing, rather than a flat machine-molded surface.
