19th-century English parian porcelain jug made by William Brownfield of Cobridge.It was produced to commemorate the International Exhibition of 1862.The piece features white molded relief figures depicting art, music, science, and commerce on a blue glazed ground with a pewter lid. This commemorative glass goblet was produced to celebrate the 1939 Royal Tour of Canada by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. This historic visit was the first time a reigning British monarch traveled to Canada. The conical bowl is etched with the royal monogram "G VI R" (George VI Rex) surmounted by a crown. It is flanked by the floral emblems of the United Kingdom: a thistle (Scotland) and a rose (England), with the year 1939 inscribed below the monogram.Coin Stem: The stem features a hollow knop (a rounded bulb) containing a commemorative silver coin.
