Likely Mahogany, the fabric cushions are a velvet feel and are in okay condition considering its age. However, It’s gotten rickety so will need some wood glue and more TLC. The two places needing some repair are the arm on the left side facing it, it seems maybe the wood has swollen as we could not get the arm rest to line up with the pegs. The back needs a new hinge as it wants to slide to one side.
