Dog Mountain

This is something I have never found the right person for, but it is very special peace and I am cleaning out my warehouse so I’ll let others try. Arnlufo is a very famous Mexican artist of Oaxaca Mexico. He is considered their greatest artist. His work isn’t Spanic museums in America, as well as obviously Mexico, where he started many of the artist movements there his work is usually in textiles, but occasionally did painting and screen prints. Such as this this looks to be a winning invitation or salutation for a couple on 1987, which were obviously very expensive and only 50 were made as as notated. This has a crease in the middle where it was likely folded at one time which it is a front and back of a card in one sheet. I think it is a remarkable piece of work and shows great love in a marriage and by the artist. It is about 24“ x 14 1/2“ it would be great framed on the wall, especially with southwestern decor. It is a chance to own the work of a master for a very reasonable amount of money.
