This is a mid-20th century vintage baroque-style ceramic mantle clock featuring a mechanical movement made by Mercedes (Gebr. Hauser) in West Germany. In used condition, small chips visible. Not tested, needs new AA battery. Vintage United Metal Goods MFG electric mantel clock, specifically model number 82, featuring a French Victorian or Rococo style design. The clock is constructed from cast metal, often painted or finished in a white and gold-tone color scheme. These clocks typically date from the mid-century era (1940s-1960s) and feature Roman numerals on the dial. Plugged in and works. Small brass toned Canterbury Quartz mantle clock, not tested, needs AA battery. In used condition, needs cleaning, some tarnished marks. Often referred to as a Carriage Clock.
