This Dartmouth Pottery gurgle jug, likely produced between the 1950s and 1970s, is made from glazed ceramic with a rich green high-gloss finish. Designed in the shape of a leaping fish, its open mouth forms the spout, creating the distinctive gurgling sound when poured. The surface is moulded with carefully detailed scales, while the curved tail loops back to form a smoothly integrated handle. The jug is slip-cast, with a raised, impressed stamp on the underside reading "Made in England" and "Dartmouth". The green glaze is one of the classic colours, with slight iridescent effects visible under certain lighting. Condition: Some signs of wear to the base and edges, consistent with age and use. Please use photos to assess condition.
