Vintage Mossoul (variation on spelling Mussel, Mousel, or Mosul) rug, a tribal carpet made in the Kurdish nomadic districts of northwestern Iran. Reds, blues, and browns are colorfast, but in need of a cleaning. 56x87 (approx 5ft x 7ft). Made in Iran. 1 piece.
