Signed "Dipinto a mano, Made in Italy" means "Hand-painted, Made in Italy," a common mark on authentic Italian ceramics indicating artisanal quality, often found on colorful pottery from regions like Tuscany, Deruta, or Amalfi, signifying unique, handcrafted pieces with rich traditions, though sometimes it's just "Italy" or the maker's name, with the presence of the phrase or good craftsmanship being key to quality. As noted in the pics, the rectangular platter had to be repaired.
