Dog Mountain

This is a very elegant piece dating from the late 1800s and is a very heavy leaded cut crystal. The band around the top of the lid looks to be gold over silver, but nothing is marked so I don’t know. The glass also is unsigned. There is minor roughage. Around some of the sawtooth pattern on the base. This is an elegant piece and deserves an elegant home. I do not remember where I bought it over the last 50 years.
