This type of art glass is often referred to as sulphide paperweight with a figure encased in glass . The figure is a Kewpie doll . Stamped on the bottom, is Maude and Bob St. Clair, 1978. The Kewpie doll was a cartoon character created by illustrator Rose O’Neill in the early 20th century.
