William Moorcroft Art Pottery signed vase in the highly collectible "Wisteria Plum" pattern. This classic design was produced during the early-to-mid 20th century (predominantly the 1920s to 1930s). It showcases an encircling band of plump wisteria flowers in creamy yellows, rich plums, reds, and deep purple-blues, paired with stylized green foliage against Moorcroft's signature cobalt blue ground. The vase has a rounded body, wide neck opening, and measures approximately 12 1/4” high x 8 1/4” diameter at largest part. These vases are completely handcrafted and hand-painted. The lack of uniform color, visible brushwork, and subtle gradients you see in the dark blue ground are expected, highly prized features of authentic Moorcroft Pottery. Some crazing is noticeable on top which is also a normal process that happens over decades.
