Large one has been repaired near the rim. Larger vase -Signature: The large handwritten blue script is the facsimile initials/signature of William Moorcroft.Estimated Production Window: Circa 1928–1936. After 1936 (following the death of King George V), the stamp text was updated to state "Potter to H.M. Queen Mary". Smaller vase: The handwritten initials "WM" belong to Walter Moorcroft (William's son), who took over as the company's designer in 1945.Estimated Production Window: Circa 1947–1953. The Royal Warrant expired in 1953 upon Queen Mary's death, making this the last period this specific stamp was legally allowed.
