The book itself however is intact and readable. Poems by Ralph Waldo Emerson, Hardcover, Hurst & Company Publishers, NY. Gold gilt title and page edges , condition is poor , front cover completely detached , back cover attached , book itself is good , intact and readable . Poems by Henry W. Longfellow, W.B. Conkey Company, Chicago. Hardcover in poor condition , back cover completely unattached with no spine and front cover separated from board at the top . Gold gilt title and page edges ,and book it intact and not separated from the front or back cover board. All three books were gifts to E.C. Ford ,in 1910 . The books have no publishing dates on them but believed to be about 1900.
