Description

The 1967 Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) Centennial Uncirculated Set in its original plastic packaging is a highly iconic six-coin collection commemorating the 100th anniversary of Canadian Confederation. Every coin in this set features exclusive, nature-inspired wildlife reverse designs created by renowned Canadian artist Alex Colville. This 1967 Canadian 6-Coin Centennial Proof-Like Set (Original Pliofilm): This is the definitive version as issued directly by the mint. Over the decades, the original pliofilm can sometimes cause the silver coins to develop a natural cloudy appearance or colorful toning, which is common for this era. The $1 (Goose), 50¢ (Wolf), 25¢ (Lynx), and 10¢ (Mackerel) coins are composed of 80% silver, yielding a total of 1.11 troy ounces of fine silver across the set. Sealed in original packaging, with COA from RCM. See photos for details. Over time, these silver coins may naturally develop light toning, which is typical for sterling silver and does not reduce their numismatic value.
