Description

Robert Held glass table lamp with pulled-feather or peacock pattern. Held drew from classic Art Nouveau makers like Tiffany and Steuben but modernised the style using vivid, high-contrast cobalt blues, pinks, and metallic golds. Robert Held originally established his studio in Calgary before moving to Vancouver in 1987, where his studio became Canada's largest hot-glass production facility. He later relocated to Parksville on Vancouver Island in 2012, which safely dates the production of this lamp to between 1987 and 2012 ~H: 19”
