Vintage Shiny Brite mercury glass Christmas ornaments. The Shiny Brite Company was founded in 1937 by Max Eckardt, a German immigrant. These ornaments were mass-produced in the U.S. using a modified light bulb ribbon machine developed by the Corning Glass Company. They were coated on the inside with silver nitrate to make them shiny. These look to be from between 1940s and 1970s. There are red globe glass ornaments and there are multi-colored globe mercury glass ornaments.

Pick-up Hours are from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Extra Space Storage, 106 Washington Street, Foxboro, MA.
