Up for auction is a beautiful vintage German embossed pewter (Zinn) relief wall plaque mounted in a solid oak wood frame. The central metal relief depicts a highly detailed historic street scene titled "Offenburg - Hauptstraße um 1895", showcasing a town square fountain, a local pharmacy (Apotheke), and traditional German architecture. The reverse side features distinct maker stamps verifying its authentic craftsmanship: • Echt Zinnrelief Handarbeit: Guaranteeing a genuine hand-worked pewter relief. • A. Grassl, Bayern (Bavaria): Identifying the specific regional German maker stamp. Dimensions & Condition: • Overall Diameter: Approximately 9.5 inches (as shown alongside the tape measure). • Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The pewter relief retains fantastic depth, crisp details, and a fine aged patina. The oak frame shows beautiful wood grain patterns and comes equipped with a built-in keyhole slot for easy flush wall mounting. Perfect for collectors of traditional German Zinn, Black Forest décor, or European travel memorabilia!
