An excellent estate collection featuring four (4) vintage instruments from the premier German harmonica maker, M. Hohner. This diverse lot bridges diatonic, chromatic, and novelty miniature varieties, all complete with their highly collectible original period boxes and cases. What’s Included in This Lot: • Hohner Marine Band No. 1896 (Key of G): A timeless 10-hole diatonic blues classic. Includes the original red, white, and blue cardboard box with traditional "Marine Band" graphics and internal instructional label (M. Hohner Inc., Hicksville, L.I., N.Y.). • Hohner The Super Chromonica (Large 14-Hole Chromatic): A substantial chromatic harmonica featuring a slide lever mechanism. Presented in its gorgeous, ornate red and black patterned hard-shell display case with a tricolor ribbon accent on the inner lid. • Hohner Super Chromonica 270 (Standard 12-Hole Chromatic): A professional-grade 12-hole chromatic model with standard slide mechanism and intricately engraved cover plates. Housed in its classic black textured hard-shell case with purple lining. • Hohner No. 39 Miniature Harmonica: A highly collectible, playable 4-hole pocket pendant charm paired with its pocket-sized bright blue plastic snap case ("Made in Germany"). Condition Notes: These items are being sold as a single estate vintage lot. The metal cover plates exhibit a beautiful, authentic aged patina with light surface wear, pocket scratches, and minor tarnish expected from historic musical instruments. The slider assemblies click firmly, and the wood combs appear intact without major splits. The original packaging across all pieces shows typical corner wear, minor scuffs, and aging, but remains structurally sound and displays beautifully. Instruments are unsanitized and sold untested for absolute pitch alignment. Please review all photographs carefully to evaluate the precise cosmetic condition and markings.
