The footplate is a diamond-pattern metal platform. The unit includes a rear access panel with a key lock and exposes visible gears and springs when opened. The front features a metal badge and branding associated with Rock-Ola Chicago. People call these "penny scales." This scale requires NICKLES. PENNIES WILL JAM THIS SCALE. This scale works and weighs accurately. When stepping off, it will stick and reset to zero when it's ready. It needs a cleaning, and instructions for that are attached to the panels. Does come with keys.
