This is a vintage Spears table croquet game set, an early indoor parlor version of the classic croquet game designed for tabletop play. Produced by Spears Games, a well-known British toy and game manufacturer active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, these compact croquet sets were intended for home and parlor entertainment when full lawn play was impractical. The set includes four wooden mallets with original painted banding, five solid wooden croquet balls in original colors, and bent wire hoops (wickets), all housed in the original Spears Games box with printed instructions and period illustrations inside the lid. The components and quantities align with known Spears tabletop croquet sets of this type and era. Table croquet sets like this are collected both as antique games and as decorative display pieces, particularly for libraries, game rooms, and vintage-style interiors.
