Description

fantastic 3-piece lot of vintage American workshop tools, perfect for collectors, restoration enthusiasts, or display. This lot includes a classic mid-century gasoline blowtorch and two highly sought-after Stanley bench planes. Lot Details: 1. Vintage Clayton & Lambert Gasoline Blowtorch (1950s/1960s): Features the original C&L shield foil decal, painted red wooden handle, and a top-mounted hook cradle originally designed for heating copper soldering irons. Complete with its black octagonal valve wheel. Untested, excellent shelf patina. 2. Stanley Bailey No. 4 Smooth Bench Plane: The gold standard smoothing plane. Features "BAILEY" and "No. 4" cast directly into the toe/bed, paired with mid-century blue japanning. Shows normal wear and surface rust on the sole/iron, a prime candidate for a satisfying cleanup or user restoration. 3. Stanley Handyman No. H1204 Smooth Bench Plane (c. 1970-1973): Suburban DIY classic featuring its original red and white "Stanley Handyman" lever cap decal and distinct dark navy blue/gray finish. The sole and sides are in good shape with light surface storage grime. Condition: All items are sold in untouched, vintage "as-found" condition. They show authentic wear, minor paint loss, and surface rust appropriate for their age, but remain structurally sound with all major knobs, totes, and adjustment mechanisms intact. Please see photos for exact cosmetic details.
