BidRush June 2026 Release: Compact View, Lot Videos & Pickup Status Updates

General Updates

We updated our How It Works pages with separate pages for Buyers and Sellers.

Key reasons why sellers are switching to BidRush include

  • Low seller fees that can be offset to zero
  • No surprise refunds, as sellers control this process
  • Direct control over editing lots while auction is live (reset bids, cancel lots when needed)
  • Access buyer contact information directly for smoother pickups

See Seller page to learn how power sellers are saving over $100,000 in annual fees by switching to BidRush, with more control over their auctions

Key reasons why buyers prefer BidRush include:

  • Low buyer’s premium decided by the seller, often just 10% (see example)
  • Buyer’s premium stays in the local economy, doesn't go to BidRush
  • Fully integrated cash payment and shipping options (when enabled by the seller)
  • Modern platform

See Buyer page for more information

It's no surprise that great auctions get over 300 participants, often exceeding 100,000 views!

Buyer-Facing Updates in this June Release

Compact View for Bids & Watchlists

Lot descriptions can be viewed directly in the listings (tap the text icon on the image)

Compact View for Bids & Watchlists

Switch to a compact view for bidding or watchlist

This view is grouped by auction, making it easy to scan active bids and watchlisted items quickly.
Buyers can also use Winning and Losing sections to narrow their focus and see which lots need attention before closing.

Lot Videos

Sellers can add videos to lots, giving buyers a better look at item condition, movement, scale, or functionality directly on the lot page.

Seller-Facing Updates in this June Release

Add Videos to Lots

Sellers can now add videos to individual lots through the web platform!

Current video limits:

  • Up to 2 minutes per video
  • Up to 400 MB per video
  • Available through the web platform only

Pickup + Shipping Status Improvements in June

June improves operational workflows that include shipping.

For buyers who selected shipping, the Pickup Report now shows the shipping status clearly (shipping requested, pending shipment etc.)

Related to this, Pickup Report now has a signature field for sellers to optionally collect signatures from buyers picking up their items.

The mobile pickup view is also clearer, with items requiring shipping sorted first so sellers can identify them quickly during pickup and fulfillment. Shipping is an option which can be set by the seller for the entire auction, or just for shippable lots.

Other reasons why Sellers are switching to BidRush include:

  • Ability to set Starting bids
  • Offline-ready iOS and Android cataloging app with AI tools
  • Publish in an hour without approval delays
  • Auction promotions include promoting seller brand, giving exposure in the 10s of 1000s
  • Instant payouts (with ability to accept Cash on pickup, when that option is set)
  • Fully integrated Shipping features (when option is set)
