Description

This lot features two Oregon thunderegg geodes—naturally formed volcanic nodules with polished window faces revealing striking bands of agate (chalcedony). Each stone displays a different internal landscape, ranging from smoky gray to soft blue and creamy white, framed by a rugged brown rhyolite outer shell. The polished faces show layered banding and subtle translucency, creating strong contrast between the refined interior and the raw, natural exterior. Sourced from the estate of a high-end interior decorator, these pieces work beautifully as sculptural décor objects, shelf accents, or display specimens for a mineral or geology collection. Condition Report: Naturally occurring pits, fissures, and uneven edges to the exterior surfaces Polished faces show light surface handling marks consistent with display No cracks through the stones and no repairs observed Oregon thunderegg, thunderegg geode, agate nodule, chalcedony, rhyolite, polished window geode, natural stone decor, mineral specimen, geology collectible, interior design object, display stone, agate banding, volcanic rock, decorator object, collectible geode, rock specimen, natural history decor
