Decorative pair of solid cast-metal automobile models representing two iconic pre-war Art Deco designs: the 1935 Auburn 851 Speedster and the 1937 Cord 812. Finished in an antiqued brushed pewter-tone surface with finely molded grilles, fenders, exhaust detailing and open interiors. Both models are clearly marked on the underside with their respective car names and years. A striking display set for a library, office, shelf, or collector’s vignette. Condition Report: Very good decorative condition. Light surface wear and small handling marks consistent with display. No cracks, breaks or repairs observed.
