Description

In good condition, all original packaging. Some toning on coins, see pictures. The 2001 Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) Proof Set features eight double-struck coins with frosted cameo finishes, highlighted by a large sterling silver dollar commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the National Ballet of Canada. This premium set remains a highly sought-after piece for collectors. Set includes sterling silver versions of traditional denominations and the iconic $2 bimetallic polar bear coin. The bimetallic $2 coin features a partial 24-karat gold layer beautifully highlighting the central polar bear design. All denominations (except the cent and loon dollar) are struck in sterling silver. Over time, these silver coins may naturally develop light toning, which is typical for sterling silver and does not reduce their numismatic value.
