Up for auction is a highly collectible and very rare vintage 1940s Bugs Bunny cloth and felt stuffed toy doll. This early, official piece of Looney Tunes history features a vibrant blue felt/cloth jumpsuit body layout with stitched accents, a classic white belly panel, and detailed painted facial features (including his iconic eyes, front teeth, and tongue). He comes holding his original stitched, bright orange and green felt carrot accessory. This specific variant was produced by Marben Limited in Toronto, Ontario under an official sole Canadian licensee agreement with Warner Bros. Cartoons Inc., making it a scarcer and much more sought-after version than its standard U.S. counterpart equivalents. Dimensions: • Approx. 15.5 inches tall to the top of his head. • Approx. 19 inches tall total (including the upright ears). Condition Notes: • Overall Condition: Fair to Good vintage condition given its 80+ year age. The body retains its vibrant color framing with typical overall surface wear, light linting, and minor age-related discoloration. • Tags: Dual-sided original fabric tag is beautifully intact. One side features the script "Bugs Bunny © Warner Bros. Cartoons Inc.", and the reverse side clearly displays "Sole Canadian Licensees Manufacturers Marben Limited Toronto Canada". • Ears: Back of the left ear shows a minor wear spot/small puncture hole (visible in the detailed photos). The tips of the ears show small spots of inner orange felt exposure where the outer seam has rubbed down slightly. • Structure: All main structural seams along the back, arms, and legs are completely secure and intact.
