Up for auction is a classic 1950s Admiral "Dual-Temp" electric refrigerator featuring an exceptionally well-preserved mid-century modern aesthetic. The exterior features a classic cream/off-white enamel finish, rounded crown top, and a solid chrome latch handle with an integrated Admiral emblem badge. Opening the door reveals a striking turquoise and copper/rose gold accent interior color scheme highly sought after by vintage appliance collectors. Key Features & Details: • Freezer Chest & Drawer: Upper top-freezer compartment labeled "Freezer Chest" with a secondary drop-down "Freezer Drawer" shelf below it. • Door Storage: Includes a dedicated flip-open "Butter" conditioner compartment and clear ribbed plastic shelving guards accented with stamped metal copper nameplates ("Eggs", "Shelves"). • Shelving & Interior: Three adjustable wire rack shelves over a slide-out bottom crisper drawer. • Condition: Beautiful cosmetic shape for its age. Minor exterior surface scuffs and typical vintage wear. The interior plastic components and metallic copper labeling are intact and remarkably vibrant. Missing the small accent cap on the upper push button. Unit is being sold as-is—ideal for a retro kitchen restoration, a standout home bar piece, or a period-accurate film/television prop set decoration. Power cord is degraded so it is unable to be plugged in at the moment.
