Up for auction is a beautiful vintage Chinese porcelain lidded ginger jar featuring a vibrant famille jaune (yellow ground) pattern adorned with classic hand-painted scrollwork. The jar showcases two distinct, finely detailed famille rose reserve panels. One side depicts a traditional elegant maiden resting on a bench with a hand fan, while the reverse features a charming scene of a boy holding a leaf fan outdoors. • Origin: Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, China (stamped with the traditional red circular "Jiangxi Jingdezhen Famous Porcelain" export mark on the base). • Era: Vintage, mid-20th century (circa 1950s–1970s). • Dimensions: Approximately 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) tall with the lid in place, and a body diameter of about 4 inches (10 cm). • Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations. The hand-painted enamels remain exceptionally bright and clean, with minimal surface wear. A quintessential mid-century Chinese export collectible, perfect for an Asian art collection, mantel styling, or Chinoiserie home decor.
