Below is a sneak peak of the July 2026 Release post, with BidRush software features that are already deployed.
Map View
With significant growth in auctions, bidders were looking for an easier way to locate auctions near them. Simply use the Map Icon to toggle the map view. (note that the approximate location of the auction will be shown on the map if sellers chose not to show the exact address to bidders; always refer to the invoice and pickup email for the exact pickup location.)
For Sellers
Video for Entire Auction
We introduced the ability to add a video for each lot a couple of months ago, now you have the ability to add a video for the entire auction!
To access this feature, simply go to the marketing section and add either the YouTube or Instagram video link. See example.
New Reporting
For clients who need reporting for their clients that exclude buyers premium, etc. - reporting added with two tabs: Summary, and Detail. The summary is with just the BidRush and Stripe fees, and the detail tab lists each lot.
Giveaway Feature
Unsold items are a small percentage of BidRush auctions. However, wouldn't it be nice if you could notify all bidders about unsold items to claim on a first come, first serve basis? That's exactly what this new feature does!
To use this feature, after the auction closes, go to the Giveaways tab after the auction closes.
and select one or more lots and click on 'Give-away Selected' for the system to notify buyers of the Giveaway items. When this feature is used, the is a button that appears in the auction listing as well so buyers can claim unsold lots.
Bidders will be notified as well as it will be listed on the site as a Giveaway...
Claimed buyer will get an invoice with $0 for the item they claimed.
Closing and Pickup Dates/Times
While setting up auctions, what if more than one auction is closing the same time?
What if there are overlapping pickups?
What if you could get suggestions for the dates?*
The latest release does all these, and more, including checking for regional holidays!
* The auto-assign button simply assigns a 7-10 day auction. Feel free to use that as a starting point and adjust based on your schedule and best practices for a 7 day auction, even shorter if needed.
Multiple auction closings at the same time are completely okay. This feature was created for sellers who wanted a clear window for the closings.
Similarly, for pickups, we show holidays on that date selected, any nearby pickups when choosing pickup dates, and clicking will show the distance to the other pickups scheduled.
Multiple pickups are fine, but some sellers wanted this feature to not have overlapping pickups where the buyers have to drive a considerable distance to make it to multiple pickups.
Improved Pickup Reports
You can customize pickup reports by creating a page break between each buyer. (so that the runners at pickups can take the page of just what the buyer purchased with them.). Thank you to Jenna at Lifecycle Pro for this suggestion.
Store Invitations
When inviting team members, the team members don't have to be first registered to join a store. The members you invite will get an email invite. (so double check the email address before you send it.). Thank you to Sheri Godfrey at Senior Transitions for this suggestion.
Map Conformation
Sellers now also have a map confirmation to ensure that the auctions are in the right location.
Pickup Window Selection
The user interface has been updated to make it easier to assign pickup dates/times/locations. (as a reminder sellers can have multiple locations/dates/times for items in the auction)
Stripe Status
Any issues related to Stripe will show up in the Store Dashboard.
For Buyers
While scrolling images from the main auctions page, what if you have added more than five photos? You will see a message to click on the image to view all photos. Thank you to Linda Chu from Out of Chaos in Vancouver, BC for the suggestion - the change was implemented within a day!
Search
Filters have been added to only show current, closed or all auction items.
